hi

i am heading to new zealand for about 4 weeks and really into my outdoors and activity stuff. i am keen on the idea of a tour as i will be on my own and want to meet others but dont want a booze cruise style thing....though few cheeky beers and wines are always nice :)

so far the main ones i have found tht seem most suitable are
flying kiwi
stray
haka

id love to hear frmo anyone thast been on these trips with any ideas or anyone thats travelling on them around january?

p.s. any tips on squeezing a surf board onto one of these buses would be great if anyone can help?

Hi James!
I went on Stray and had an awesome time - I haven't heard of Haka or much about Flying Kiwi so can't comment on them but I'd definietly recommend Stray, their focus is on the outdoors/nature/culture etc it has a nice mix of activities - and drinking in the evening....you can get as involved as you'd like!!

PS Surfboard's are fine on Stray bus (our driver had one!) Stray also goes to Raglan which is a wicked surf spot!
