Hi everyone,
I just came up with a rough itinerary for our NZ visit in April 2014. Waiting for reviews from everyone.

I have heard that Queenstown is the place to be, and so, I have kept the maximum time in there, but trying to squeeze in as much as possible in the remaining time.

Day1: Fly out to Auckland, reaching there by night. So no more plans on that day
Day 2: Go around Auckland
Day 3: Drive to Rotorua, and Taupo; Stay the night at Taupo.
Day 4: Go around Taupo, then drive to Wellington
Day 5: Take the ferry to Picton; and then drive to Greymouth and visit the glow caves.
Day 6: Drive to Franz Josef Glaciers, and spend the day there
Day 7: Drive to Queenstown; go around a bit.
Day 8: Visit Te Anau(take the ferry ride); cpme back to Queenstown
Day 9: Queenstown
Day 10: Fly to Christchurch; Go around christchurch
Day 11: Leave NZ

We do have an option of not spending a day at christchurch, and use that day somewhere else, if there isn't much to do there. Open to suggestions.. Please contribute.

Cheers!
