Can anyone recommend a moving company to move all my earthly possessions between Canada and Australia?

Any moving tips would also be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Does the water really flush the other way?

Do you turn things to the left to tighten them and the right to loosen them?

Do your corkscrews go the other way?

Left or right side steering wheel?

Which side of the road do you drive on?

Hey all,

I am thinking about up to North Queensland for 4 or 5 days as I have found cheap flights on Jetstar. Just wondering, what are the pros and cons of either Whitesundays, Fraser Island, or possible Townsville. It will be in late August. I am looking for nice beaches, diving in the great barrier reef. Hopefully cheap, and partying.

Thanks,
Tom

I should really have been planning this more than I have been. I arrive in Oz on 30th September.

I want to travel in a circuit because I land in Melbourne to meet up with friends, then go traveling and finally come back to Melbourne to settle and work.

I think I have a route which falls pretty close to at least one of the Greyhound options, but I'm unsure if there may be cheaper ways of piecing the transport together myself once I have reached North Queensland.

I have about £3000 GBP ($7000AUD ?)…

Could hire a four wheel drive but maybe short tours are the way to go to take in guide's knowledge and to meet people. Any suggestions would be great, also tours done and enjoyed. We are in our fifties but fit. I…

Where to stay in Deby for 1 night? Family of 6; budget accommodation preferred.
Wheelchair friendly needed although not essential as the party member has a little mobility.

Hi,
We are a family of 2 adults and three children aged 9, and twins of 8. Neither of the adults can drive. We arrive in Kathereine on 17th August late afternoon and hope to arrive in darwin on 22nd August. Would be so grateful for advice re: accom., tours, etc.
One of the adults is in a wheelchair but has the ability to transfer and take several steps and has the attitude she will do anything or at least let the others in the group go for it.
