Hi everybody,

I need just a simple info: is there any reliable and cheap tour operator organizing in August a 3-day tour from Adelaide to Coober Pedy and Lake Eyre round trip?

Thanks a lot and ciao.

We are thinking about going to Denmark in July - how is the weather and temperature during the winter? And how about mosqitoes? All information about Denmark are welcome!

Considering how many Brits move to Oz every year you would think it would be dead easy to find a helpful website that would cover most of everything you need to know in great detail- but that is not what I found.

Anyway...

Hi, My sister is visiting Australia us for 6 months from Sri Lanka. I would like to some suggestions as to what sort of insurance should I get for her. Some health funds like MBF and Australian unity seem to provide health cover for oveasese visitors. But these products don't cover travel components. Can some one recommend a travel insurnace product or insurers that allow us to have a travel insurance with the health cover in Australia? Thank you.

traveling oz!

Hi, I am a uni student who has been studying abroad in brisbane for the past semester. I want to travel around australia from around june 24th - july 20th, and i figured out a basic itinerary but am looking for suggestions! So far i have been to cairns, the south island of nz, and a lot of beaches around qld ( byron bay). I love interesting cities and the beach, and any place that is not too touristy. Nature and wildlife and stuff are good too, but exploring cities is really my favorite. My plan

Hi

Does anyone know if you can get a caravan along the Gibb River road.
We have 4wd tyres on van, so plenty of clearance, vehicle is a patrol.
We don't mind taking it slow.
Any idea on recent road conditions, we will be up there Sept.

I am taking a trip to Queensland, and have not been there before so I am in desperate need of help to figure out my trip. When looking at website after website I get tons of touristy things to do, main problem is I hate touristy things. My wife and I are planning to move there, so I want more of the homey feel of the area. If anybody has pointers, places to hike, see, things to do, let me know so I can have a true Queensland expierence and one that is not dolled up to make a bit more profit.

I'm after a nice hostel in Adelaide in early September. Something central and not too rowdy - I'm after something a bit more sophisticated then a hostel full of loud drunks.

From research I've already done, either Hostel 109 or Annie's Place seem promising. Has anyone had any experience staying there? Or is there anywhere else anyone would recommend?
