Hey people,
I was wondering if anyone had any info on that workstay thing that sends girls out to the outback to work as bar tenders in country pubs. Apparently you can do it for 2 or 3 months and get free board while getting paid. I've heard of a few people doing it but cant seem to get any concrete info about how to goa bout this! Myself and my friend are in cairns at the moment but would love to head out to the outback for awhile. Anyone able to point me in the right direction???
Thanks x x x

You are asking for it, OP.
Work in outback pubs, the guys are only interested in a very small range of things.
Our mate bazza has mentioned one. Even though the people who want to go out and do it might not be into what baz has mentioned, the guys out bush will be keen on one of a narrow range of things.
Just so that you know.

Damn, I knew I could have gotten work in Australia !!

You could try looking at the NT News online employment (careerone) but as it is coming into the Dry season up north, most touristy Stations (ie. El Questro, Home Valley, Drysdale - all on Gibb River Road, Kimberleys) and some through NT will pick you up if you can get there.
It is a bit of a hit and miss though... until you are there you won't know what you are in for.
