Hi All,
This is a question for the Aussies...I spent some time in Canada with a Working Holiday Permit that is only available to those under 30 years old. I had a ball and am thinking of going back, but am now over 30. I would love to hear from anyone over 30 who has had experience working in Canada, and any recommendations on how to go about this. I'd especially love to hear from anyone who has gone through the process of applying as a Skilled Worker, as I am eligible to apply (I'm a primary teacher) but am wondering how difficult and lengthy that process is.
Thanks for your help :-)

Try applying to schools in Alberta (they have a BOOMING economy and need people from all sectors), and asking for sponsorship.

Sponsorship before entry is the easiest way to get your Temporary Residence Visa.

Alternatively, go for a holiday, shack up with a canadian dude and get hitched.

Ah yes getting hitched to a Canadian dude is the real goal, but thought a legitimate job might be a better way to get into the country!!!

Thanks for your help :-)
