What does this mean

Until 11:59PM (AEDT) Wednesday 10 February, book a stay at any one of over 150,000 hotels on jetstar.com to the value of AUD $200 or more and receive a $50 flight voucher.
Flight vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of issue.

Does this mean I have six months to book a flight and the flight can be in more than six months? In other words, book now, but fly in 12 months.
Or does it mean I have to made a booking for a flight which leaves within six months of me getting the voucher. In other words, must fly before early August 2016.

I dont want to shell out for a hotel more expensive than i would normally stay at if the flight voucher cant be used by me as I have already booked all flights I need in next six months.

put the exact URL of the competition so we can see - not just 'jetstar.com' and expect people to trawl through the endless pages trying to find what you are talking about - that would help

Use the voucher to book a flight within 6 months but the flight can be any time.

Every group has its own dynamics, if you can't see the idiot then it's probably you.

Yep from wat i see have to use voucher within 6 mths of issue but flight / holiday can b anytime thats how i read it

OK- I have now got the voucher.

The fine print says :
l Redeem for Jetstar flights or Jetstar flights together with Jetstar Holidays products up to the value of $50 AUD

l Book within 6 months through Jetstar.com or Jetstar Contact Centre (see Jetstar.com for contact numbers). Your booking must be made or changed before the Expiry Date

Good- this means I have 6 months to use the voucher and can book a fight as far ahead as I like.
 And the other good thing was that I was able to use a $25 Jetstar voucher towards the cost of hotel. It seems whenever you book on Jetstar they send you a hotel voucher.
