Hi travellers/advisers,

Do somebody here know if australia do a new character/criminal record check for the second working holiday visa?
Even if you come back within 6 months?
And do i need a new police clearance certificate?

Thank you!

Isnt it the same conditions as the first?

Its the same as the first, so for example if you left Australia and went to SEasia again for a few months, they'd want another chest xray done. Its treated as the exact same visa, however you met the conditions to get it a second time. When you apply again, they'll tell you what you need to supply them with.

Oke thanks, im granted my 2nd year and they only asked for the 2 abn numbers of the companys where i did my 88 days.

Do they do a background check for 2nd visa or do they may ask for police certificate?
I donit think they check everyone again?

Checks are done BEFORE you get the visa, NOT after!!

In response to #6

If you've don't nothing wrong between the two visas there is no problem at all.
They do enough checks to grant a visa, but if something comes up in their system you may be asked at the border.

A visa is never a guarantee of entry. That said you don't get denied entry to Australia in general unless you've got a criminal conviction and often then only served time in a jail. If they've let you in once, unless something has drastically changed there should be no problems.

Yes, you're right. If OP has been a very, very naughty boy since the visa being granted, things could be different.
