headlines today Australians who use mobile phones for banking services are being targeted, there re directed to site that are almost carbon copy of real ones. sims, urls involved its a huge problem involving most banks as targets

It is a common scam where they send you a text message or an e-mail with a link to your bank's website, except it is not your bank's website but a lookalike that records your login details, which the bad guys use to login to your bank's real website. Only the gullible follow links like that, if you put in your bank's website yourself there is no problem.
