Is your chest hair a thicket? When the leis hang low....

Sorry Ian, I won't be able to attend.
I've just scored a bargain flight to Japan on 29th Oct. Jetstar CNS - KIX for $5 plus taxes.
Woo Hoo!
Colin - that's FANTASTIC!
Wish I was in a position to be able to drop everythign and go somewhere on one of those sort of fares.

Unfortunately Mrs P isn't in a position to drop everything and go with me so I'll have to be extra nice to her over the next few weeks to keep the envy at bay.
We're going to Thailand next April though so maybe I should just keep mentioning that to her.
I'm astonished ... why would someone go through all the trauma of getting to Cairns in October (blech), a long boring flight with CrapStar, then the rigours of Osaka with $400/night shoe-boxes, rather than a few snags on a barbie in beautiful Bleak City - with good friends and scintillating conversation? As I say - astonishing - but all part of life's rich tapestry, I concede.

I have to admit Ian, getting to Cairns for a reasonable price was a bit of a stumbling block and of course I'm absolutely distraught about missing the TT event of the year.
luckily I won't have to endure the rigours of Osaka for more than a fleeting hour or two as I pass through on my way to the charming little fishing village of Eigashima (sorry, it isn't on Google Street view).
Oh! -- What's this "few snags" business? I was expecting filet mignon at the very least in return for the couple of bottles of D'Arenberg Shiraz I'd planned on bringing.
If it's not on street view then I assume you're making it up.
Sounds excellent though Colin - and here is a nice [picture anyway|http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2239/1540677244_dc8639fa58.jpg].
