Yep great day/night - had so much fun I had no idea it was so late by the time we went for food (the second time). Lovely bunch of people this Melbourne lot :-)

Yes ... very pleasant indeed ... and as a bonus I think we solved all the world's problems.

The Exmouth? Favoured haunt of travelling pharmaceutical reps?

I don't know Nerb. It was in Little Bourke Street amid Chinatown. Ring a bell? Bare floorboards, billiard table and they DO NOT SELL ANYTHING HOT - NO coffee, tea, or chocolate.

There's no problem that can't be ignored if we really put our minds to it.

It was right next door to the Exford Hotel, which was very excellent as well. The barman was from Leeds.

Cheers but I got pissed in sympathy with youse anyway. Latest reds from the wine club having just arrived and Mrs Nerb having steaks on the grill ....
I was confusing the Exmouth with the Exford. Presumably "Exmouth" is a cafe/bar at the Exford? It wasn't so long ago that the pool room there was the place to score a bag, allegedly.

This standard piece of jingoism is usually followed by Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi, a trip to a tattooist to have the Sthn Cross etched on one's shoulder blade, and a call to arms whenever those nasty Lebos invade Cronulla

My reply to your hollow Yank-style nationalism, chris, would be "for what?"
