When trying to purchase Jetstar sale fares, it seems that if you want to return from a different destination (e.g. A to B, C to A), that you have to purchase two single tickets. The risk is that the second ticket is not at the price which you thought you'd be paying because the sale fares have sold out before you buy the return flight. It can mean that your holiday costs more than you'd budgeted for (not such a problem for a single ticket but more $ involved when buying for a family). Is there any way around this? Have I misunderstood their website?

You just need to select the "multiple cities" trip and then you can choose unconnected flights all in one go.

Thanks - but where on the jetstar.com website is that option? I can't see it - must be blind.

On my Jetstar you can only buy single trips.

No multi-city option.

Thanks heaps, checkingirl - much appreciated! I would love to know how you found this page. If you've time to explain how you navigated here from jetstar.com that would be fantastic.

raki_man, I'll do the same because I couldn't find it either.

You're both welcome, hope you find the bargains you're looking for.

Click on "help" and you get "ask Jess a question", type in "Multi-city" and hey presto !

I think you could also do multi-city or open jaw bookings using Qantas web site, and just pick Jetstar flights. I've done a couple like that.
