I will certainly not waste another second to answer what you are asking in your latest post.

LMAO

Thank you for your response. You are right. I was doing some further research and didnt find too many things in Brisbane that is unique. It seems like Sydney and Melbourne have more to offer and my time might be better spent else and skipping Brisbane. Is that a fair statement or am I missing something?

To be a little fairer to the OP, they do confirm in post #2 that they are renting a campervan for Cairns > Sydney, so at least they are consistent in that.

OP you have six major stops (Magnetic Island, Whitsundays, Fraser Island, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Byron Bay) - three nights each is 18 nights - say 19 - plus three days of solid travel (Airlie Beach > Hervey Bay takes two, and Byron Bay > Sydney is one very long one, or better, two).

I am going with someone called Lucky rentals. Their prices were WAYY cheaper than the rest and decided to risk it

nomnommonster You're going to have a great time. Which campervan company did you book?

You are correct. I should have not asked for advice if I chose to blindly ignore it. That was not my intention. I saw a really good deal for a campervan and ended up booking it because of it. I apologize if that made you feel like I was being careless with other people's time.

Just a note here though. This is clearly my first time posting. A little compassion would have been nice.

I will certainly not waste another second to answer what you are asking in your latest post.

#23 You are right, I should have been considering the fact that you post here for the first time. I was a bit frustrated because it seemed to me that all the advice given between your first post and your post 11 had been totally ignored / maybe not even read. I apologize for being unnecessarily unkind (which is totally not the way I am BTW).

Have fun with doing further research on your trip (doing research is a very important part of the fun - at least it is for me). And hopefully you will have a good experience with Lucky Rentals. Its a "subcompany" of Jucy Rentals, and when the vehicles get too old to be rented out under the name of Jucy, they are being shifted to Lucky. So yes, the vehicles are pretty old, which is of course one of the reasons why they are so much cheaper than most others. That must not necessarily be negative, but it can be (the longer a vehicle is on the road, the more it shows and the more it is prone to problems). I don't want to make you anxious, just don't expect a brand new vehicle (at the end, you mostly get what you pay for).

Ofcourse, you are not! You are someone who helps strangers on the internet plan their trips. I have no trouble believing that you are a kind person!

Re: renting from lucky. Thanks for the heads up. We noticed that when we booked the car. It said 99' vehicle. But the next available price was just over $1000 more. We decided to risk it because of the huge difference. I'll post here later on my experience and people can decide if its work the risk for them
