Hi,
A group of us (5) are planning to do a 3 day/2 night whitsunday cruise in mid July and i was wondering how far in advance we would have to book to get the boat we are looking for at the time we are looking for. We haven't decided the exact boat yet, but would probably be in the higher end of the budget options with onboard sleeping. Cheers for any advice.

I've been there last january (yes I know, wrong season...but that's it). Anyway I suggest to book the cruise when you'll be there. There are so much cruise companies, you can have a look to each, see the boats, debate about prices and get onboard the day after. It's really easy and probably cheaper than booking online.

Yeah, I would suggest waiting till you get there!

there is a good booking place just outside Magnums Backpackers where you can view photos of the boats and have a look at the details of each (how many people, how big the boats are, what the sleeping accommodation is, how many days it sails for each time plus prices and inclusions).

From there you can decide on which one to choose!

there are shit-loads of boats so you won't have a problem finding one you like!

Easy-peasey!
