Hi there -
Can anyone recommend good hotel chains in Australia and New Zealand? Preferably of the budget/cheap variety.

There are also quite a few good independents.

www.hostelaustralia.com<BR>Not an Aussie hotel chain, but theirs are all budget or cheap hostels in the chain.

try also www.choicehotels.com.au<BR><BR>they're based on NZ & Australia

not sure of cheapness/budget variety, but worth a look
