Hi
I am from Malaysia. I am looking to visit these places in Sept.
I plan Airport to Gold Coast Vibe Hotel- hope that someone can guide me where to buy the tickets and which coach company [I heard it's Greyhound]at the international airport.
From Gold Coast I plan take train to Brisbane Roma St - where in Gold Coast to buy the tickets?
I heard Roma St easy go airport by train, is this correct?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

You will be able to buy a bus ticket or a shuttle ticket or a train ticket from Brisbane International Airport to the Gold Coast ... not a problem at all. I would use a shuttle (Surfside or SunState and others - doesn't have to be Greyhound).

From the Vibe Hotel Surfers Paradise you can catch a bus to the train station (Nerang) that will take you to Roma Street, and from there catch the train out to the International Airport. But why do that? Just catch a shuttle bus from Surfers Paradise direct to the Airport.

Thank you so much. I will check on Surfside and Sunstate and see which is cheaper in terms of fare, time schedule and time to reach. Thanks again.

Yes, check what the shuttles cost but it is an airport to hotel service.

Alternately, you can get the train from the Airport direct to the Gold Coast with stops at whichever station is closest or has better bus connections, the most common bus route between the coastal area being up along the Gold Coast Highway to Helensvale.

So the guys up there already answer most of your questions but I want to add if you are traveling Brisbane in September there is an event there which is the Australian Flowers Week and Flower Festival. If you are fond of flowers and whatnot can try to see the event as part of your destination. You can search online for the details and the events. I'm sure you'll have fun, Christensen's Flower Auction will be one of the sponsor of the event.

one think to consider, depending what time you arrive and depart, the train does not have traffic holdups like the road.

Thanks. My idea of coach and train is to enjoy the different scenery along the route.

The train will be better for what limited scenery there is, the road being a three to sometimes five lane drag strip on which you can get to see heaps of cars, trucks and vans etc.
