Hey everyone
I'm a loud, outgoing, adrenaline junky with extra itchy feet (not literally ew!)
I have just spent 15 months working in different places within Ontario, Canada where I fell in love with the amazing views and ever so friendly people but whilst on the waiting list for my next working holiday visa I decided I would book some last minute flights and head to the other side of the world to spend some time in the ever popular backpacker spot that is Australia as you do!
I arrived in Perth a couple of weeks ago and I'm currently staying with friends I've known for a long time who moved here a while ago and working at a bar to allow myself some income and add to the savings I have left here which is great HOWEVER I don't want to waste my trip I want to see as much of Australia as I can before I leave again on May 9th 2016 ready to head back to Canada
My plan all along was to rent a car/camper van and drive away. I initially wanted to fly to Sydney around the beginning of March and drive my way down the coast through Melbourne etc and visit Tasmania before heading back across to Perth for my flight home.
Now I'm thinking of doing it from bottom to top and back across through Darwin and back down to Perth. It's a big trip and I'm thinking pretty lonely too. I haven't done massive amounts of travelling by myself and have been lucky to have friends all over I can stay with so I'm a little new to hostels etc
I need advice on any particular routes, stop offs and places to stay that might be best and a travel buddy would also be amazing if anyone is interested in losing themselves in what Australia has to offer with me
feel free to respond to the post if you can help with any of this
Safe travels :)
