My son (Yr 11 in a private school) has this suggestion fr P & F ... (for no gd reason) coming up in June & much as I support it - would like an input...

There's a kayaking thingo which I'm not into - though he's had a taste fr school camps...I'm not a water person basically.

Cycyling in Centennial Park..ok..but I'd have to hire a bike...as we only have one bike & guess who it belongs to...!?

# 3 - I like this one - walking around the light house in Palm Beach - I haven't been to Palm Beach for yonkers...what if I suggested a gd fish & chips place for lunch...any suggestions much appreciated. This is somewhat a "bonding" or "mateship" for the kids regardless of age/siblings...fr Yr 3 - Yr 12. It's a support group thingo...

Sorry, I only do public schools, and it obviously makes a HUGE difference (or why would you mention it).

P & F = Parents & Friends...I think P & C in public schools means Parents & Council...?!

Isn't the correct terminology for a so called 'private' school a 'public school' and the schools the commoners go to government schools?

Depends on the country I think, Sugoi. In England a 'private school' is called a 'public school' - odd, but true. The commoners just go to government funded schools. Very confusing to a lot of us.
