Krabi to Khao Sok to Surat Thani

Hello, im trying to see if I can accommodate a 2 night stay in Khao Sok.

I need to your help to see if this is possible, and how can I accomplish this.

Ill be in Krabi, from March 16 to March 19, and then I have my next flight on March 21 to Chiang Mai from Surat Thani, I'm trying to see if I can squeeze a quick trip to Khao Sok national park from March 19 to March 21. Is it doable? How can I get the most of it? Is it really worth all the hassle to travel from Krabi to Khao Sok, or should I just try my luck with Koh Tao?

You fail to say what time your flight is could make all the difference

Koh Tao is a real detour, makes no sense to try to cram that in.

You sure could stay a night (or two, depending on flight time, see #1) in Kao Sok NP, but question is what will you get out of it?

If you stay in the National Park/ Jungle side of it maybe you can go for a little walk in the forest but not much more.
If you head for the Cheow Larn lake side of it you can do an overnight excursion and stay on a raft house, the better option in my opinion - if you have the budget to do so.

#2 I can't see how you can say that this is a real detour. Ok by bus wiil be longer but I can't see how Khao Sok is going to be more than a couple of hours more than getting to Surat Thani by car or taxi. Khao Sok to Surat Thani airport about 1.5 hours by taxi or car. I probably wouldn't want to rely on the bus if the schedule was tight.

Krabi, Khao sok, and on to Surat thani should be easy. I agree with bigal, the time of your flight out of Surat thani is crucial for a second night in Khao sok. You can always spend all day there and then head to Surat thani if your flight is early on the next day.
To get the best out of Khao sok, probably throw some money around, as your time is limited.

I have often used Khoa Sok as an overnight stop going from Ranong to Surat Thani airport. Leaving Khao Sok to Surat Thani leg for the following morning. I would definitely avoid buses unless I was on a relaxed schedule.
