Khao sok to Patong beach

Can someone please advise me the best way to go from khao sok to patong beach?

I wonder how you got there - that might give you a clue as how to leave. Also no idea of your budget.

Once there, I would ask at your guest house. They will have latest details and times. Nonetheless:

There are buses passing on the highway at the top of the national park turn off road. These will go to the west coast and you can then pick up buses to Phuket town.

There are also minibuses going that way, but you will need to ask the locals for times and departure points.

Personally, I have done it on my bicycle a couple of times. A nice 2 day ride overnighting in Phang Nga.

Thank you for the reply. I will be going to khao sok from bangkok. From bangkok will take a flight to sura thani and then from there take a car to the resort in khao sok.
I know there are buses from khao sok to phuket. But was wondering would bus be confortable enough? or should i opt for a private car? I wont be alone. Total 3 of us will be travelling.

Buses in Thailand are comfortable, if you are comfortable with buses. They are modern with good seats and often a/c.

As there are 3 of you I think a car may be best as it sounds like getting to the bus stop and then changing buses may be outside your comfort zone. Also the bus to Phuket will only be to Phuket town, so you will need to make another transfer to your beach at Patong.

You could consider a shared minibus, but again, this may require a change.

As there are 3 of you, the price of the car per person is split 3 ways compared to 3 times bus fares.

As I said above, ask your hotel. As they arranged a car to them, I imagine they can arrange a car from them.
