gentle accommodation in BKK?

Hi -

Arriving in BKK 20th Feb - looking for nice accommodation near Kao San, but not too near - and not rock bottom, but not really pricy either. Thinking to the Shanti Lodge, but other reccommendations would be appreciated.

Mango Lagoon Place is a good choice. It's on Soi Rambutri far enough away from the KSR madness, but close enough to check it out. I've stayed there many times and it's a good choice.

bangkoksuite.com is really nice .... clean, nice rooms, wireless internet for free in the whole house (routers on every floor), free lockers downstairs,ok breakfast included ....

it's 750/800 a night and they have a 3days (2 nights) package for 2400 including airport pickup service ....

we're very happy here!
