Cheap and Clean Guesthouse Near Wat Po

Looking for a place to crash for 5 days or so. The commute from the other side of town will kill me. Is there a decent place where I can stay near Wat Po? I guess I can commute to Chinatown, Old Town, or Khao San.

Inexpensive (since I've already got an apartment, what a waste), decent, clean, and packed with fun-loving people? Needs to be near an internet cafe and a really good, cheap Chinese and/or Thai restaurant.

just stay around khaosan, it's like a 15 minute walk across sanam luang (park).

presumably you are doing the massage course? it's not actually in wat pho, but just beyond it. when i did it i stayed at one of the sawasdee guesthouses behind the temple nearer phra athit. i took the river boat up and down to commute.
