Don't all jump on the sex trade because I asked a condom question. I was just wondering if reliable ones are sold in the country. You can only bring so many along in your luggage, and if I meet a fellow traveler and hook up, well, condoms can run out rather fast. Thanks. And how many can you bring into the country before customs cares?? Or do they give a rat's ass???

I know there is lot of people who did or do as I did meaning used a small privat company to extend their visa because they did not take the time to travel to the border themselfes. Even though you find these comp. everywhere and even if you see them advertise openly it is still strictly unlegal. Nobody cares as long as your passport isnt stolen, lost or whatever. I used a comp. in Pai and they lost it (they said anyway). I went to Bangkok and got a new passport easy enough but the problem…

Is it easy to find a place that sells SNUS (Scandinavian tobacco) on the islands. I found it in Chiang Mai once but never looked for it in the south.

Issuing a new passport in a rush while staying outside my hometown in France has proven a bit of an headache and so I gave it up. Yet my book is only valid only untill middle of January. Just a quick question. I have most of the innoculations i have to have straight in my head, but there are 2 i would like your advice on. I will be going to Thailand for 1-2 months and Bali for a fortnight. Do you reckon i should get the following:

- rabies
- Japanese Encephalitis
