Hi There,
I am in Bangkok for 1 more day and was thinking about going to Ayutthuya for the day and making it back to Chinatown by about 8pm. Is this possible if I took the early early train out to Ayutthuya and then rented a motorbike to see the main sights? or would i need more time?

Hi everyone,
Went to the grand palace in bangkok yesterday and was surprised to see a model of angkor wat there. Why is it there? Does it have to do with the sacking of Angkor by the Thais way back when? Because I thought they never got to Angkor wat, just places like ta prohm, etc.

had coffee with a couple of UK teenage girl timeshare OPC's just now. This is what you need to qualify for a tour at their resort :
1) on holiday in Thailand
2) aged between 30 - 63 years
3) man to be in full time employment or early retired
4) married or living together for two years or single
5) have a credit card they accept
they said that unlike in Phuket, in Pattaya they don't actually take couples at the resort they're working on at the moment and that even if a guy were married to a Thai…
Will be spending sometime in Thailand, (Laos and possibly Cambodia) during February and March of this year.
A few questions for anyone who might have answers:
1) Since we'll be flying into Bangkok, that's where we'll be purchasing anything necessary, which we didn't bring with us. Regarding mosquito nets, is it more economical to purchase one in Thailand, or in the United States (where we're flying in from)? What are some recommended places to find the best prices both in the US and Thailand?

Hi there,
I've heard that you camp on Maya Bay in Phi Phi Lay. Has anyone been as I understand that you need a special permit as it's protected national park.
Cheers
Will be returning from Myanmar and will need a hotel that will allow for easy Skytrain access. Since we're flying home the following day and I need to run a few errands in BKK, it makes sense to me to stay near the closest station to the airport. Can anyone recommend some mid-range hotels (500-1500 baht) near On Nut? Quiet would be a big plus since we have to get up at 4am the following day.
Going to Thai in march with mate and myself and wondering what kind of rags I need to wear when hitting up bars and possible night clubs? Are shorts, tees and flip flops ok, or is nicer attire required?
Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good, reputable place where I could bring my digital camera to be repaired in Bangkok? Hoping it can be fixed so I don't have to deal with haggling for a new one. Thanks in advance for the help!
