i am spending a couple of days in bangkok with my thai girlfriend. i am looking for a comfortable room in a smaller hotel with a little personality. i'd like to pay around $40 a night but would go up to about $50 for a room that was worth it. does anyone have any recommendations? the hotel doesn't have to be centrally located, just somewhere in the middle of the sprawl. thanks.
Hey
Just wondering the opinions of people who have been to Thailand recently. Is it necessary to use anti malaria stuff? Some people have told me yes...some no. What do you think?
Thanks
Melanie
Hi
Am travelling to Thailand with circa 2 weeks supply of Malaria tablets. Might need to pick up another 2 or 3 weeks worth if I spend some extra time in Cambodia or Laos. Is it easy to get extra supplies of malaria tablets if I need them in Bangkok? Any advice on where and how to get hold of some more tablets would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Trying to weigh up the pro's and cons of either Flying, or going overland Via poipet or take the boat from Hat Lek.. I have done the Hat Lek run before..
And don't really fancy going Via Poipet, not worth the hassle.....

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have any recommendations for trekking?
i've been looking at realgap.co.uk who do tailor made trips, but from whom i've spoke to, i've been told its alot cheaper to do myself.
so here's the question...
how easy is it to hook up with people once you get into thailand? or anywhere in the world for that matter.
i'm really into wildlife conservation, so are there any good webpages that advise what to do and how to do it?
i've never done this before, so i'm just nervous about going…
Has anyone with an allergy to nuts travelled or lived in Thailand or other SEA countries? My main concern is about ingredients you may not see, like peanut oil. I've heard that when fried it doesn't cause reaction .A first hand experience or profesional point of view would be great. Cheers!
