Hi I am reading now that Thailand only give you 15 days when crossing borders by land. is this still the case.

I am reading on the Thai embassy website that i need to show funds for my trip when entering Thailand. Has anybody been asked to show funds when they fly into Bangkok Airport.

I have not been to Thailand for a 11 years now but i used to go regular when I was backpacking between 1998 and 2006 but even back then the same message was out but never got asked to show fund when I entered Thailand on many occasions.

Looking for helpful suggestions from experts.

I am traveling from Hanoi to Koh Phangan in July.
I am looking for the cheapest way to get from one point to the other and am happy for it to take a bit of time, in fact I hope to spend a little time in stop offs along the way.

Just got new UK Passport but I made a mistake with signing the passport under the line and not it.

Called Passport office they say it is still valid but may have issues at border crossings. I done a little quick research and found nobody so far have had any issues but have found no threads relating to travel in South East Asia.

Hi! I'm hoping to hear from those of you who have dived in Thailand before and obtained your PADI open water licence.
I have 7 days in April and I'm looking to go to Krabi, phuket or somewhere where I can get my PADI training.
Any suggestions on which company to use and the best areas to dive would be appreciated.
Also which areas to stay so I'm close to the dive school.
