I'm traveling alone to Thailand in May for a month, and as far as I understand it's the low season. Since I will be traveling alone, I actually would have preferred to it being the high season so that there are more people to meet and travel together.
Where do you suggest it's most likely that I meet other travelers in Thailand in May?
Hi All, a little background for my trip. I will be 3 weeks in Pattaya for work (two free weekends).
The plan is to spend a weekend in Bangkok, maybe the second one in Pattaya (if enough to do), and then travel some days to explore (days depend on options, but no longer than 7 extra days).

Is there an airport bus from New Bangkok Airport to Khaosan Road if sp how much is it.
We only have 2 extra days to add into our Thailand trip, focusing around Ko Tao and flying out of Samui. Heard good (and some bad) things about both Ko Nang Yuan and Ang Thong Marine Park. We plan to stay overnight at one of these and realize that Ang Thong is very simple bunglaows and Ko Nang Yuan is one resort. I hear both are very touristy in the day but if you stay over, that it can be a cool experience to have the island less crowded. If we were to do one, which would you recommend? Or…

Or is iT better to buy a joint ticket?
Do these buses go straight to Nakhon Si Thammarat or Will they always make a stop in Surat Thani ?
