Looks like exporting is down the pan now as well.

Forget this I found it in drafts and resent it.

Perhaps; more likely crime will also increase. Since farangs act like golden geese, I'd expect them to be targets.

Probably not! It all about parity and everyone else is in the same bat at the moment.

Exchange export by import more eggs laying farangs.

Jeez, hope our resident Pattaya based economic expert don't see this. He was blustering away on a thread a while back about how sound the Thai economy was - how exports were mainly rural based (not) - and how they would hold up.

Interesting is the fact that INBOUND TOURISM is also regarded as an export because it brings money into the country.
However tourism doesn't usually figure in the EXPORT EARNINGS ACCOUNT in most countries' National Accounts - it usually shows up in the CAPITAL ACCOUNT.
Point is (HEY, WAKE UP DOWN THE BACK!) if you add the plunge in tourism to the drop in exports of products, how much worse would the figures be?

Tess - you are at times a profound buffoon - at other times a very profound buffoon - you even make up crap out of nowhere - put what I said in context - the fact is you made a ridiculous comment and started a tread based on that foolish comment and you have been proved W-R-O-N-G. get over it and whip out that zimmer-frame and waddle on.
