I'm going to be traveling through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam on this trip https://www.gadventures.co.uk/trips/indochina-discovery/5535/itinerary/

I'm not going to be spending 30 days in one place so I'm starting to get confused with what Visas I'll need.
I'm presuming Thailand will be fine as I'm a UK resident so I'll be exempt both times I enter.

However I hadn't considered needing visas in the other countries. The longest I think I'll be any one place is 10 days, will I get away with visa exemptions?

I've check the Gov website for Vietnam and UK residents can stay for 15 days until June 2018, I'll be travelling after this time so not sure what's best.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Apart from Vietnam I am not sure what is confusing it is all quite clear on the FCO advice, both Cambodia and Laos you can pay for a visa on arrival (the don't have visa exemptions), although you can by the Cambodian one on line as an e-visa, they are $30-35. Vietnam you will have to wait and see what law is brought in after June.

For Thailand you can do two overland 30 day exemption visas per year so that is all you will need. Surprised a company like G Adventures has not supplied all of this info, but it is on the FCO site quite clearly.

Is you return ticket to Bangkok within 30 days? If not , you may be refused boarding in the UK, as you might be asked for proof of leaving Thailand within 30 days if you don't have a visa already. I would make sure you have some official looking proof of your itinerary handy, just in case.

Sounds awful but each to his or her own and very expensive
Ignore what #2 says you will have no problem if you are not staying on in Bangkok at the end of the trip but I can not imagine the airline refusing you boarding if you have evidence of your itinerary
The website clearly states you will need to get a Vietnamese visa in advance so why are you confused?
Make sure you get some $US to pay for the visas for Cambodia and Laos

Wait till June and see if they extend the Vietnam visa free arrangement. If they don't you will need to get one before you go. All other entries can be done at the border either free or paid in the case of Cambodia and Laos
