We will not be traveling any where in Bangkok. We will will be arriving Bangkok in morning and then head straight back to Phuket or Krabi by evening or night train.

Night train only takes you so far then you have to take a bus. You'd be lucky to make Phuket by lunchtime. I'd be looking for a day bus to avoid waiting round Bangkok for the day.
