Hello,

We will be arriving at Surat Thani Airport at 15.30 and would ideally like to get to Samui the same day.

Please can anyone suggest some routes to get there?

Looking at Samui Ferries the last boat leaves at 14.30 however some other websites say there are boats until 11pm at night?

There are ferries on the hour, every hour until 19.00, then there's a night boat at 22.00. See here.

They don't all go from the same pier though. At the airport, there's a booth where you can buy a combined bus / ferry ticket, and they'll see you right and make sure you get to the right one.

As mozziebite said, at Surat Thani airport there's a ticket booth where you can buy a combined bus/ferry ticket. Plenty of time to get to Samui that day, no worries.
