Does anyone know how (or where) I can watch the Super Bowl on TV when in Thailand this weekend? The game will start at around 6AM in Thailand, so that might make going to a bar tricky. If it matters, I plan to be somewhere in the Koh Samui area. Thanks!

I've seen the Super Bowl several time while in Thailand, but I've always been staying with friends and we'd get up to watch it.
Back in the late 80's, there was a place called the Montana Saloon and I was there early in the AM to watch the Mike Tyson/Buster Douglas fight.
I haven't been back to the island in years so I don't know if that place is still there, but I'd think someone would be open to watch it.

Ive checked the only two sports channel listings
constantly. Star sports and ESPN, niether are broadcasting.
Luckily, a couple of canadians that i met have a laptop that
picks up cable from back home, so were gonna watch it from there.
If the superbowl means that much to you, you could take the trip over to
Ko pangang, Had Rin and watch with us, better be going for Peyton though

I find this hard to believe because I watch regular season NFL games and I watched the playoffs. I'll look into where it's playing and post it here later.

Agree with #3. ALL of the playoff games have been on here (man, that was a bitch getting up at 3AM Monday before last and watching BOTH of my teams lose). It seems that Star broadcasts the CBS and Fox games and ESPN the others (though there may be different financial arrangements for the big game). Anyways, don't worry.

yea its was hard to believe that espn wasnt going to air
but i saw a commercial for upcoming sports in Feb on ESPN
and they said theyd have the superbowl, but its still not listed.
