Anybody know where I could keep my bagpack for the day near Khao San. I’m arriving in Bangkok on an early flight and am leaving for koh Tao at night. I’d like to explore the city a little bit during the day without having to haul around my big bagpack.

Any cheap guesthouse room will do, which also allows you to shower before the trip south. Just remember to keep valuables with you, not left unattended in the room (same goes for bus to south).

The international airport has a place to leave luggage on the same floor that you check in for for tickets. 100 baht. It's in the back in the middle. The International airport is about 40 min. to the domestic by sky train. The train is also the cheapest way around the city.
