There are many Spa's all over the island, so pending where you will have your hotel, it will be easy to make a choice there and then.

As far as I know there's an Oriental Princess outlet at Tesco Lotus.

Hi I literally just been to Spa Samui in Lamai beach.

It was AMAZING

They have a fasting treatment there if you fancy but you will find that most of the people who stay there aren't actually there to fast (the waft of food in the restaurant - which is apparently one of the best in the world for vegetarian/ raw food cuisine was irresistable - if we weren't fasting!).

The massages are good but the lady Pu in Healing House just a couple of hundred steps out on the left is better and cheaper.

Do try the ampuku massage while you are there. The steam room is also excellent.

The best best thing about this place though is that its small enough for you to get to know everyone- fasters and non-fasters.

I know I made friends there and can't wait to catch up with them again!

standard rooms are 1000B/ night BUT you get a 20% discount on your stay as they are doing some construction work there which didn't really bother at all!

In any case hope you find a great place to stay!

#4, not really. Tesco Lotus is on the main road (not beach road) half way between Chaweng an Bophut), about 10 minutes from Chaweng Beach. (http://www.samuixl.com/lotus-chaweng/ueberblick.php)

try the new Magnolia Spa, it's the best ever in most amazing price for what they give. (north Chaweng near Kandaburi resort)
