I'll be flying from BKK or chaing mai to south Thailand on 4th of September,
at first i was thinking of staying at krabi, but I've read that krabi can get really wet, and a ghost town in September,
so can anyone recommend other beaches/islands with good and sunny weather in early September?

as I want to spend my last 4 days in Thailand in a relaxing, sunny beach
any hotel/guesthouse recommendation would be great as well.

(I'm looking for a relaxing beach, with a little of parties going in)

thanks in advance.

How much do you want to spend per night on a hotel room? Actually going in the water for diving or similar activities or just looking at the water? Pattaya is a beach area closer to Bangkok. Tourists usually do not swim at the beach but they do sunbathe, visit other nearby beaches and shop. They also use hotel pools for swimming. Cheaper hotels and nightlife than Phuket area and easy to get to!

Usually if it rains the rain stops in an hour or so. I think the weather in the Pattaya - Jomtien - Hua Hin area is better than several places down south.

Up to you.

I don't have a fixed budget, but I was planning maybe around 500-750 baht per day for double rooms,

I want to go snorkeling and diving as well, and water activities as well
