I'm stressing out here. I finally bought tickets for myself, my husband and our toddler and we leave in about 5 weeks. But I'm having trouble finding a place to stay on Ko Pha Ngan. I've booked Salad Hut on Haad Salad for a few days at the end of the trip, but we need somewhere cheaper (650 baht tops) for about 8 days. I was all set to stay at Mai Pen Rai in Than Sadet but they've just told me they only have double beds, no twins! It's weird I know, we need to have twin beds cause my husband moves around too much in his sleep!! I've been looking all over the internet and have come back to you guys for help!!

Can you recommend a bungalow on a quiet beach with no bars or loud music at night, so I can find out if they have bungalows with twin beds?

The beaches that sounds nice and quiet are:
Than Sadet (what about JS Bungalows? I can't find any reviews on them)
Mae Hat
Hat Salad (but we're already staying there at the end so prefer another beach!
Thong Nai Pan has been said to be quiet, but it sounds like there are lots of bars there, so I'm wondering how quiet it really is?
Ban Kai- Rainbow Bungalows, but heard the owner isn't that nice and it sounds close to Had Rin, so is it really quiet?

OR any other nice accommodation on a quiet beach you know of!
Thank you!!!

900 gets you a family bungalow at MaiPenRai with 3 beds - 1 double and 2 singles. Surely an extra £3 GPB a day is not the end of the world... especially with a toddler....?

I've stayed at J.S. Hut, bungalow #20, middle of the beach, on the beach, 2 beds, cold shower, 800bht. Nice people, good restaurant Great spot. Cheers

The family bungalow at Mai Pen Rai is on the rocks, so it doesn't look incredibly safe for our one and a half year old. I don't think we could ever relax if we were letting her play on the porch or inside the bungalow.

Isnt rainbow bungalows the one owned my the Aussie guy and his Thai wife? if it is he's a decent enough chap and Mamma (his mother-in-law ) is lovely.Never stayed there but we've always been to say hello for the past 17 years and found them to be really nice.
