Hi, My wife and i are planning on traveling to Phuket around 18th of June for a couple of days and then heading down to koh samui and koh tao. can anyone tell me what the weather is like in these parts of thailand around this time. we hope to do a lot of water activities and island day tours so just hope its not raining. i have read that samui is reletively drier at this time , would it make sense to skip phuket and go to samui directly?

Yes, it makes sense to skip Phuket at this time, and stick with the Gulf side.

Ko Tao is really cool. There are some lovely quiet beaches on KPN as well you should check out.
