Hello, I'm new in this blog, i would like to go to Thailand in January, specifically to phuket! is it a good idea to go that month?

Yes. Its high season. It will be very busy, and Phuket is a tourist ghetto unless you stay at a 5 start IMO...go to thhe islands or north up the coast...
