Hello!
Has anyone everstayed at the Phi Phi Villa Resort on PP?
It seems like a good deal.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, yes we've stayed there twice. It is a nice enough place, but really nothing special...... depends on what type of bungalow you are staying in? They have fan rooms which are pretty average, cold water, toilet doesn't flush, need to use the bucket and water system, and it's a long building with all doors along the front so they aren't stand alone bungalows.
The next level is the stand alone bungalow, around 2500 bht per nite (dependent on season) and they have aircon / hot water / fridge etc but again, are nothing that fancy really! Just basic accommodation. The bathrooms are the thai style with the shower nozel on the wall or you can take it off and use it like a hose with a shower head! The entire bathroom gets absolutely soaked either way you use it. The beds are like trampolines! The next level up is more expensive and i've got no idea what they are like coz i haven't stayed in one!
Although they did have 4 new bungalows that we where lucky to get "put in" and it was VERY nice, the bed was sooooooooooooo comfortable and soft but firm and lush for thai standard (normally they are like concrete slabs!) The bathroom was very modern and new and very nice (no bathroom flood problems in this bungalow!), the aircon worked a treat, was very quite and it was all very nice, the only problem was that it was close to the pathway and the beach bar opposite (Carpe Diem) so was a little noisy (that's if you wanted to sleep!) but it didn't really matter coz we where at Carpe Diem all nite anyway!
So, yeah, go stay there, it's ok - at the end of the day you only want a bed to sleep in and a shower to wash in so you'll be fine! Say g'day to Chem at Carpe Diem and have fun! You'll love it..
