Phi Phi Room Strategy?

Hey Travelers, I tried booking through PhiPhi.com some cheaper places like Phi Phi Hill and the( automated?) agent said no rooom at the inn or any other nearby.I looked at hoteltravel.com and sawadee.combut they didnt have much for Had Yao . Do you think this means the place is overun. Do you think there is room if I wander the beach with my pack?I really want to srtay in Had Yao. Im leaving tonight and will arrive Tuesday afternoon in Phi Phi. Thanks so much or any suggestions or strategies

Hi, I was on Phi phi a couple of weeks ago and there were quite a few places with signs out with rooms available. I booked with an agent at Karon beach, so you could try a local agent. The one I used was advertising one night accommodation with return transfers for 1950 baht. However like I said there were rooms available when we got there in smaller establishments. The larger hotels and resorts had to be pre booked via an agent. Good luck!

So would you guys recomend booking a room before getting there then?? I will be there sometime between June 1st and the 9th. What do you think???
