Hi all,
We will stay just 1.5 days in Phi Phi arriving around on Day 1 and leaving in the morning of Day 3. So in fact just 1.5 day to use.
We have booked an hotel not far from Tonsai Pier, so that we are in a central position to go where we need.
The idea mainly of our stay is mainly to enjoy swimming, snorleking and maybe visiting some caves.
I am looking on advices on places to go (so that we do not do a mistake and lose precious time) and also some tour agency (if needed).
For the 1st afternoon, we would look for a beach to swim and also do snorkeling starting from the seashore. If e need to take a boat, just day.
For the full day 2, maybe we would to differents places for snorkeling,.. maybe some tour exists... that is why your advice would be great. Also I would be interested to know for the snorkeling places, which are the ones where you need to swim in deep water (I mean without feet touching the sand or rocks)
Sorry for all those questions and thanks in advance for making our stay a great one
Laurent

Hi Laurent,
Awesome choice on Phi Phi, we really love it and I'm sure your time there will be great! There are many tour agents on the island that offer day tours (full day, half day) and we did the one that goes to Maya Bay, Monkey Beach, Phi Phi Leh . I don't remember the name (sorry couldn't help there), but I'm sure that you will not have a hard time finding an agent, they are on every corner hahah.
I would recommend that you check out and see what type of boats they use, we took the standard long tail, but saw many tours using fancy speedboats etc. I didn't mind the long tail but some people are more sensitive to rocking and stuff.
The other thing I would recommend is that you do the tour first thing in the morning. We DIDN'T do that and had tons of people on the beaches , but some of our friends took the first tour in the morning and they almost had it to themselves.
Also make sure that you visit the Phi Phi viewpoint. The views are spectacular and it gives you a real sense of the island.
I've got a couple videos on Phi Phi in my Youtube channel including the trip to Maya Bay if you want to see what the tour was like: http://www.youtube.com/c/martyncastens
Let me know if you have any questions and if I can answer them I'd be glad to :)
