My partner and I are looking at spending 2 weeks in Thailand for a relaxing break. We are planning on staying on Phi Phi Island for ~ half of this, at the Phi Phi Island Village. Any thoughts on this hotel or other recommendations? What rooms are recommended? Is it easy to get around to other parts of the island from here?

If you are going before May 2007, it's fine. They are planning some renovation/construction work for the beachfront units from May to Oct. According to their email, they will work on 4 units at a time.
