Hey Guys jusy after some advice on Phi Phi. There is a group of 10 of us meeting in Phi Phi Late Nov for 2 weeks. Just wondering what the weather will be like. Is there good party life on Phi Phi? We just want to drink in the sun and sit in beachside restaurants watching the sun set listening to good music. I have been to Koh Samui befor but never Phi Phi i am just wondering what Phi Phis night life is like? Also do you have any recommedations on cheap places to stay with aircon. Small bures would be fine its just a bed but we will need air con. We were paying $18AUS a night in Samui fir this will we find these prices in Phi Phi?

Thanks in advance guys...

Late Nov is a great time to travel the Andaman. Wet season has ended but high season has not hit. Nevertheless PP will have a fair few people visiting - it is a real popular place.
PP has good night life in town - Ton Sai village.
My March visit which was also shoulder season saw crazy prices for even basic accomm on PP - so I reckon no way will you get an aircon bungalow for $aud18. You will be lucky to get a fan bungalow.
I have more info on this and a lot more in the second link below.

drink in the sun and sit in beachside restaurants watching the sun set listening to good music

for "$18AUS"? That's about 520 baht/night. Sorry but on Phi Phi in November that just won't fly.
Expect to pay at least double that price for even the most basic fan/thatch accommodation in Nov (nearly peak season). Expect to pay at least 3x-4x times that if you want anything beachfront. Not trying to be a spoiler - just please adjust your expectations to avoid disappointment. Phi Phi is extremely popular - probably the most coveted pieces of sand in all of Thailand.

"Bures" (so you've been to Fiji?) = "bungalows" in Thailand. Good luck and definitely book ahead. Bula!

Ha Sorry mate have been to Fiji, ha bad habits never die i sitting there thinking now what am i trying to say. Bure came out ha. Na budget change is fine easy done was just trying to get the general idea. Upto $75-$80 a night is fine. From what i see Phi Phi looks perfect. Any suggestions to where we can head at that time of year after 5 or 6 nights in Phi Phi. We have about another 6 nights free before we hit Bangkok. Keen to just sit in the sun drink at beach side bars and really just relax.

Thanks for your ideas guys

Railay near Krabi is just what you need, but it will be getting busy late Nov. Short ferry ride from Phi Phi. See my Railay stuff in the second link below for some general info and some suggestions re mid-range places. $75 will buy a killer bure.
Ko Lanta is a similar distance, nice island, not as spectacular as Railay but much bigger - greater range of accomm of all types. It's below in the link too.
