If you would like to make a rough ride over the mountains, see a spectacular view and swim in clean, calm and shallow water - you need to head southwest to one of the last unspoiled beaches.

I can only describe the way. I cant take you there myself. Last exit from Lamai heading south. Check the odometer. After 3,4km, turn left towards Ban Tong Khrut. From this intersection follow the road straight for 10,3km to the crossroads at Snake farm. Buy some cold drinks and stack up with food at the Family Mart on the left. Where you are going - there are nobody selling icecream, massages or food:) After resupplying, continue straight ahead 800 yards, keep to the right(straight) in this roadsplit(where the road turns left). After about 300 yards the road will turn into a red dirt road. Bravo - you found it. Now only 2 hard km to go over the mountain, but well worth it. (You may want to park your scooters under the big tree on the left 100 yards after the top and walk last 5 minutes). Watch out for snakes taking sunbath on this lonely road - we saw many:) If you are not able to go over the mountain, you can cheat(and lose the magnificent view) and turn to the left 50 yards before the red dirt road. Go as far as possible, walk down to the beach and follow it northwest.

Have fun and enjoy. The owner (of the mountain) said he will never sell - he wants to keep one paradise in Samui. Big thanks to him:) Let me know what you think!

And now how much longer is it going to be a paradise??

What a bizarre post. If you know of "one of the last unspoiled beaches" on Samui, why on earth do you want to tell everyone about it?

The snakes will keep me away from the place!!!!!

Softies! Should walk to paradise.

#3 You wouldn't want to leave town then. I was clearing some rubbish, and found loads of scorpions and poisonous millipedes hiding under things. Biggest scare though, was large snake- yuch.

Probably a long time, since the owner wants to keep it that way:)

Without hords of people coming, sellers will stay away. The beach is over 1 km, so there is possibility to find a spot alone.

I want others to be able to enjoy it. Because of far away, snakes, rough terrain and no vendors - I doubt everyone will go. Whats the point of paradise if its not experienced:)

Have you ever heard of "Paradise Lost"? :)

I am as disobedient as Adam and I refuse to follow the rules of others, be they almighty or not. Therefore I invite all and everyone into paradise, for if paradise can not hold everyone, then it is not a paradise. Paradise is a state of mind, not a place!

Heaven is a place on Earth.. Or at least is until it gets overrun by tourists. And I believe it was Eve who was the disobedient one.
