New Year/Honeymoon - not too much £££?

My partner and I are getting married on Koh Phagnan on 21 December this year, and after we spend Christmas there we would like to venture off on a two week honeymoon in Thailand (or somewhere else in SE Asia!). We are looking for more secluded places e.g. not HUGE resorts, but also don't want to pay extortionate prices.

Understandably Christmas/New Year is the ultimate high season, but just wanted to see if there are any recommendations of decent places to go that are £250/night and less?

For £250 per night I would want some shares in the place when I left.

Koh Phangan! This is where the kids get wasted on dope and alcohol while looking at the moon! Not too many of those young guys staying in places even at £25 night!

You should be able to find a decent place for £250 a night somewhere! This is about 10 times more than I would pay for my decent place but that's me!

Since it is the Christmas season get your reservation in early. Even in Phuket you can find a nice place for your budget.
