Looking for a really nice beach resort property to spend 4 or 5 nights at the end of our vacation. We'll have been traveling up north around Mae Hong Son and then in Angkor area just prior, so looking to rest and relax. Willing to spend $300 to $400 a night for the right place. Any suggestions? Thinking options may be too limited on Phi Phi and/or might run out of things to do and see there if staying 4 or 5 nights. I'm thinking that Phuket may offer best resort options. Love the Aman Resort style of properties if there is a "budget" version of that!

Le Meridien on Phuket would be my first choice - the Banyon Tree (Phuket - Bang Tao) would be another.

Pimalai on Koh Lanta (Krabi) is very nice. Lovely beach, beautiful views.
