I'm travelling alone and I'll be getting to the end of my travels when I'm at Koh Samui and I'm planning on ending it all with the full moon party (accomodation booked on ko phangan) and then Koh Samui for 3 nights. Looking for a hotel near the port as well as shopping and popular with other travellers... Thank you!

Why? If you take the ferry from Had Rin, you will be at Bo Phut.

I doubt any hotels in the Na Thon are "popular" with tourists, but there are some on the waterfront that look OK.
