Can anyone recommend hotels/guest house in Phi Phi and Krabi...I'll be there for 6 days over Christmas and really should book soon! Also...when/where does the ferry leave from Phuket to go to Phi Phi...do I need to arrange tickets in advance? Thanks and safe travels, Alana

I have tried to get into 14 hotels now for 22 Dec to 17 january.
Not one hotel could take the booking.
Good luck!!
If you find somewhere - can you book me in too??!! LOL

Any hotel, guest house or travel shop will sell tickets and arrange a ride to the boat dock in Phuket Town. Kata Beach is the next closest town to Phuket Town, and much nicer because it is a sunset beach. No beach at Phuket Town.
The tickets to Phi Phi cost more at the dock than in town.
There are at least two departure times in the morning. Maybe around 8am and 11am.

There is a fair bit of info on places to stay at, and access to both PP and Krabi. However I think you will find it pretty hard to get a Christmas vacancy at both PP and the Krabi beaches at this stage.
