Hello guys
In december I`ll be doing my honeymoon in Asia, and we have 7 days in Thailand. Was so easy to decide the whole trip, but we are more than a month trying to figure out what to to in Thailand and still have no clue.
We will stay from Dec 27th till Jan 3rd, and will be arriving in Krabi around 1pm and leaving from Phuket late in the night.
On the 27th, I though about sleeping in Krabi for a night, as from what I've seen, the last ferry to Phi Phi leaves at 3pm. In the next morning we would go to Phi Phi and spending 2 nights there.
The biggest problem is this second part, because we would leave Phi Phi on the 30th and it`s been really hard to decide where to go.
1 - Koh Samui or Phangnan is the first option, although it seems very overpriced for this time of the year. The only problem is that I checked with Bangkok Airways, and there is no more flights available for these dates. So I thought about renting a car in Krabi to go to Samui, but after some thoughts it seemed a little too much (+-8 hours between the ferries, driving and the process to rent the car).
2 - Another idea was about going to Ko Lipe, that seemed much nicer than Ko Samui and Phangnan, but with less things to do. A huge downside was the way to Ko Lipe, as i`ve heard it takes a 6 hour boat ride from Phi Phi. Isn't that way too much to spend in a boat?
So guys, if you could help me with that, would be great, i`m afraid my 7 days in Thailand become a hop on / hop off trip. And if you could give me some thoughts about these islands i mentioned, or recommend another places would be great.
