Hi,

I need advise from the person who know thailand, I am going to thailand and my new friend join me there;

Where should we go except Bangkok, we want to know each other and I have only one week for this.

Ancient temples? Ayutthaya
Recent(ish) history? Kanchanaburi
Both fairly close to Bangkok for a week visit
